Founder and Owner
About Bill Kidd: KCG Custom Home Builders was founded by Bill Kidd, whose journey in construction began as a laborer for a local builder. That early hands-on experience inspired him to pursue a degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University.
While at ECU, Bill completed the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program and then was commissioned into flight school. Bill was flying attack helicopters yet he was still working toward his goal of becoming a builder.
While serving as a superintendent for a local builder and learning the trade from the ground up, Bill deployed to Iraq. He returned home after being wounded, more determined than ever to build something meaningful, for his family and for others. That’s when KCG Custom Home Builders was born.
Kerri Kidd
Founder and Owner
Kerri Kidd is the heart behind the company’s mission. Kerri brings deep purpose and compassion to every aspect of the business. Her leadership is rooted in a genuine desire to serve others, which is a value she has also channeled into her non-profit organization, Unchained Heart Ministries. Kerri’s strong faith and commitment to people are an integral part of KCG’s everyday operations. Her presence ensures that their team is not just building beautiful homes, but that KCG is creating meaningful experiences grounded in trust, care and a higher purpose.

Dylan White
Project Manager
Dylan White joined the KCG team in the spring of 2023. He attended East Carolina University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. After graduating at the top of his class in 2023, Dylan began his career as a project manager here at KCG.
Originally from Chowan County, Dylan grew up on a family farm and has experience in construction work. With a background in farming and general construction, he developed a strong work ethic. Dylan’s attention to detail and dedication to excellence make him an asset to the KCG family.
When he is not turning trees to keys, Dylan can be found back on the family farm, spending time with his family or tending to his chickens.
Anne Grace Albritton
Interior Designer
Anne, KCG’s interior designer, has had a passion for design since she was a little girl arranging floor plans out of sticks in her yard. Prior to joining KCG’s team, she worked as a designer at Albritton Interiors in Greenville, owned her own furniture restoration and painting business where she rehabilitated over 400 pieces of antique and vintage furniture, and got her start in sewing and installing custom window treatments. She is also a watercolor artist who specializes in home portraits.
Anne is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia. In her personal life, she is a wife, mother of 4 children, and Gigi to 3 grandchildren. She is passionate about her faith and enjoys teaching Ladies’ Bible Study, co-leading a house church, and serving on the worship team as a singer and electric bass player. She and her husband David have led several church trips to Israel and Greece, and she is always looking forward to the next time she can return to the Holy Land.

We recently purchased a new house in the greater Greenville NC area by KCG. Our new house is exceptional in every way. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. Everything from gorgeous upgraded fixtures throughout, all tile bathrooms, bead board porch ceilings, crown molding, beautiful flooring, window seats and a very generous master suite. Our house is environmentally green built including the Nest. We plan on many years of enjoying this beautiful home to the fullest with family and friends.
