Building a new custom home is a challenge in the best of times. Building our dream retirement home from a distance of 1,800 miles and during the COVID-19 pandemic posed an even greater set of challenges. Throughout the process, Bill Kidd was great to work with. When we decided to build our custom home we met with a number of builders and Bill Kidd and KCG stood out above the rest from the start. Throughout the process, communication was constant, keeping us up informed every step of the way. The attention to detail and openness to our input was amazing. Even after our home was complete he was always responsive to any questions, concerns or issues we encountered. We can not say enough positive things about Bill and KCG. In January 2014 I moved into my new home built by Bill Kidd with KCG. Bill was extremely helpful during the entire building process; from making suggestions while reviewing plans, to designing cabinets and bookshelves around the fireplace. Great attention to detail. In my opinion, you could not choose a more knowledgeable, professional and caring contractor.

Bill Kidd with KCG is hands down one of the best local builders ! He is a certified green contractor and is able to educate his clients on mechanical and structural options. His attention to details and his hands on , approachable personality make the building experience enjoyable and efficient. Bill and Kerry have built a great team around them with their subcontractors which provides for a very consistent and quality product. That consistency results in happy clients ! I have seen it time and again as their Realtor. Whether building a starter home or a luxury custom.. you get the same guy. One of integrity and a man of his word. Just completed my custom build with KCG and I’m truly going to miss it. From day one, Bill was excited about the build, very attentive to my wants and needs, and completely eager to see me in my forever home. It’s beautiful and my family and I are forever grateful.
We worked with KCG for two full bathroom remodels. The process was very easy. They were able to assist with design and handled all the planning/permits necessary. When the project started, they had arrived very promptly and one crew of subcontractors would arrive shortly after the one before would leave. It felt like a very well oiled machine. Tanner was very helpful in the onsite coordination and made sure things were up to our liking the whole time. The estimate ended up pretty close (within 10%) to what we expected to spend (including little upgrades we selected- ie swap from tub to full tile shower with glass.)
We are excited to use Bill Kidd for our next home improvement projects!
