We had such a wonderful experience working with KCG. From start to finish, their communication was excellent—they were always professional, quick to respond, and accessible whenever we had questions or concerns. What stood out the most was that they didn’t treat our project as just another house to build. Instead, they genuinely cared about creating our dream home, thoughtfully listening to what mattered most for our family.
We were also so impressed with the contractors they used. Everyone on site was professional, respectful, and kept the job site clean and organized throughout the entire process. That attention to detail gave us so much peace of mind.

My wife, Catherine, owns a townhouse that needed a whole wall of glass replaced to highlight the wonderful view of the river. Bill and his team did a great job measuring, ordering, obtaining, and installing the new wall of windows, all in record time at a reasonable price. Oh, and have I mentioned? Bill also built my new house 4 years ago in the midst of covid, and again, did an outstanding job–all with the highest integrity. We love our home, and it is the envy of the neighborhood. So build, remodel, Bill does it all!

Bill and the KCG Team just completed building our custom home, and I can honestly say they did an outstanding job and they have gone beyond our expectations, we are extremely happy.
From the design of our house to the subcontractors that Bill uses every thing was top tier.
If I was building another house today, Bill would be the only builder I would use, no questions asked, and that’s the highest compliment I can give anyone.

Since we are near the one-year mark of living in our new home, my wife and I would like to post our thoughts on working with Bill Kidd and KCG.

Building a new custom home is a challenge in the best of times. Building our dream retirement home from a distance of 1,800 miles and during the COVID-19 pandemic posed an even greater set of challenges. Throughout the process, Bill Kidd was great to work with. His passion, craftsmanship, and most importantly integrity were key to the success of this project. Our home’s design and execution reflect a close partnership between Bill Kidd and the Robinson family. We came to this project full of ideas and Bill Kidd worked with us on making them a physical reality.

The hands on approach, the attention to details and the ability to transform ideas and dreams into beautiful homes are just a few of the great things I can say about Bill Kidd and KCG . We worked with KCG for two full bathroom remodels. The process was very easy. They were able to assist with design and handled all the planning/permits necessary. When the project started, they had arrived very promptly and one crew of subcontractors would arrive shortly after the one before would leave. It felt like a very well oiled machine. Tanner was very helpful in the onsite coordination and made sure things were up to our liking the whole time. The estimate ended up pretty close (within 10%) to what we expected to spend (including little upgrades we selected- ie swap from tub to full tile shower with glass.)

In January 2014 I moved into my new home built by Bill Kidd with KCG. Bill was extremely helpful during the entire building process; from making suggestions while reviewing plans, to designing cabinets and bookshelves around the fireplace. Great attention to detail. In my opinion, you could not choose a more knowledgeable, professional and caring contractor.

We recently purchased a new house in the greater Greenville NC area by KCG. Our new house is exceptional in every way. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. Everything from gorgeous upgraded fixtures throughout, all tile bathrooms, bead board porch ceilings, crown molding, beautiful flooring, window seats and a very generous master suite. Our house is environmentally green built including the Nest. We plan on many years of enjoying this beautiful home to the fullest with family and friends.
