Bill Kidd with KCG is hands down one of the best local builders ! He is a certified green contractor and is able to educate his clients on mechanical and structural options. His attention to details and his hands on , approachable personality make the building experience enjoyable and efficient. Bill and Kerry have built a great team around them with their subcontractors which provides for a very consistent and quality product. That consistency results in happy clients ! I have seen it time and again as their Realtor. Whether building a starter home or a luxury custom.. you get the same guy. One of integrity and a man of his word. Handing over the keys on closing day is a rewarding moment for everyone involved in the process ! I highly recommend Bill and KCG if you are thinking of building.

We worked with KCG for two full bathroom remodels. The process was very easy. They were able to assist with design and handled all the planning/permits necessary. When the project started, they had arrived very promptly and one crew of subcontractors would arrive shortly after the one before would leave. It felt like a very well oiled machine. Tanner was very helpful in the onsite coordination and made sure things were up to our liking the whole time. The estimate ended up pretty close (within 10%) to what we expected to spend (including little upgrades we selected- ie swap from tub to full tile shower with glass.)

We recently purchased a new house in the greater Greenville NC area by KCG. Our new house is exceptional in every way. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. Everything from gorgeous upgraded fixtures throughout, all tile bathrooms, bead board porch ceilings, crown molding, beautiful flooring, window seats and a very generous master suite. Our house is environmentally green built including the Nest. We plan on many years of enjoying this beautiful home to the fullest with family and friends. Building a new custom home is a challenge in the best of times. Building our dream retirement home from a distance of 1,800 miles and during the COVID-19 pandemic posed an even greater set of challenges. Throughout the process, Bill Kidd was great to work with.
