Since we are near the one-year mark of living in our new home, my wife and I would like to post our thoughts on working with Bill Kidd and KCG.

Building a new custom home is a challenge in the best of times. Building our dream retirement home from a distance of 1,800 miles and during the COVID-19 pandemic posed an even greater set of challenges. Throughout the process, Bill Kidd was great to work with. His passion, craftsmanship, and most importantly integrity were key to the success of this project. Our home’s design and execution reflect a close partnership between Bill Kidd and the Robinson family. We came to this project full of ideas and Bill Kidd worked with us on making them a physical reality.

Bill and the KCG Team just completed building our custom home, and I can honestly say they did an outstanding job and they have gone beyond our expectations, we are extremely happy.
From the design of our house to the subcontractors that Bill uses every thing was top tier.
If I was building another house today, Bill would be the only builder I would use, no questions asked, and that’s the highest compliment I can give anyone.

His attention to detail, communication skills and open mind about our ideas and thoughts made our dream home a reality. Our beautiful home reflects us as a family and I am always getting compliments on it. Even after the completion, Bill has made himself available if we have questions. He strives to make his clients happy and satisfied. We appreciate everything Bill and KCG has done for us and look forward to raising our family in an amazing high quality home!

We had such a wonderful experience working with KCG. From start to finish, their communication was excellent—they were always professional, quick to respond, and accessible whenever we had questions or concerns. What stood out the most was that they didn’t treat our project as just another house to build. Instead, they genuinely cared about creating our dream home, thoughtfully listening to what mattered most for our family.
We were also so impressed with the contractors they used. Everyone on site was professional, respectful, and kept the job site clean and organized throughout the entire process. That attention to detail gave us so much peace of mind.
It’s clear that Bill and the rest of his team believe in building homes that families can truly grow into, and that level of care made all the difference. We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication, and we couldn’t be happier with the home they’ve helped us create.

My wife, Catherine, owns a townhouse that needed a whole wall of glass replaced to highlight the wonderful view of the river. Bill and his team did a great job measuring, ordering, obtaining, and installing the new wall of windows, all in record time at a reasonable price. Oh, and have I mentioned? Bill also built my new house 4 years ago in the midst of covid, and again, did an outstanding job–all with the highest integrity. We love our home, and it is the envy of the neighborhood. So build, remodel, Bill does it all!

I met Bill quite a few years ago when he purchased a boat from my Brother and I. We hit it of with many similar interest from fast cars to motocross. Along the way my brother purchased a house that Bill was building as a spec home and the home was impressive to say the least. Over the years knowing Bill he had asked me many times when I was going to let him build me a house. When that time came knowing the quality and attention to detail, I knew I had to give Bill and KCG a shot. Man… I couldn’t be more impressed. From the start Bill and Kerri take a personal interest in your project and it doesn’t end there. They are fully committed throughout the project. I can’t say enough about our project manager Dylan. His commitment to understanding what we, the customer were asking for and to the smallest of details are unmatched. Bill, Tanner, and Dylan have done a really great job of creating relationships with sub contractors as well that are all very courteous and highly skilled in their respective crafts. KCG built us an award winning absolutely beautiful home… it’s also really cool!

Just completed my custom build with KCG and I’m truly going to miss it. From day one, Bill was excited about the build, very attentive to my wants and needs, and completely eager to see me in my forever home. It’s beautiful and my family and I are forever grateful.

When we decided to build our custom home we met with a number of builders and Bill Kidd and KCG stood out above the rest from the start. Throughout the process, communication was constant, keeping us up informed every step of the way. The attention to detail and openness to our input was amazing. Even after our home was complete he was always responsive to any questions, concerns or issues we encountered. We can not say enough positive things about Bill and KCG. Not only is this a great company, it is even better people! If you need a contractor, do yourself a favor and contact KCG, you will not be disappointed!

We worked with KCG for two full bathroom remodels. The process was very easy. They were able to assist with design and handled all the planning/permits necessary. When the project started, they had arrived very promptly and one crew of subcontractors would arrive shortly after the one before would leave. It felt like a very well oiled machine. Tanner was very helpful in the onsite coordination and made sure things were up to our liking the whole time. The estimate ended up pretty close (within 10%) to what we expected to spend (including little upgrades we selected- ie swap from tub to full tile shower with glass.)

We are excited to use Bill Kidd for our next home improvement projects!
